10 Natural Ways To Pamper Your Skin + a Free Gift Offer.

Hey everyone! I hope you all had an amazing holiday break this past weekend, I know I sure did! We didn't do anything too exciting this year, just my husband and I and the kitties at home by our twinkling tree and cozy hot cocoa in hand. We went on a few walks, opened a humble amount of gifts and just really enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the hum and buzz of work and life.

I am trying to take this whole wee off, but I just had to chime in to bring you a special offer and chat a bit about a topic very passionate to me: skin health! I have struggled with acne prone skin and very sensitive and fair skin my entire life, so I am constantly trying to pick up tricks and tips for making my own skin happy and healthy. So today I share some with you.

Holiday breaks are a great time to pamper yourself, and you can start with you skin. Our skin is the organ that protects us, holds our entire body in place and is our protective shell as we brave our way through life.

Today I share my 10 Natural Ways To Pamper Your Skin. Plus a free gift offer from Beautycounter for those of you who are interested.

Enjoy and happy holidays to you and your family!...

Winter Travel to Iceland: Ten Things I Loved!

A few weeks ago, my husband and I took a trip to Iceland! "Iceland?" You ask. Yes!

We had been wanting to travel there for a few years and with some pretty amazing airfare rates, and tourism booming, aka loads of travel-inspo in Instagram, we decided to take the frosty winter plunge into the land of ice and fire and all things magical. We had visions of snow, northern lights, blue lagoons, wintery horses and Bjork dancing in our minds.

Iceland as a destination felt adventurous, yet welcoming. A bit of unknown yet small and accessible. Would we love it? Hate it? Be bored? Ha! Sometimes the funnest part of travel is not knowing exactly what to expect. So with that, let me take tell you why I can't wait to return to Iceland! 10 Things I Loved About Iceland..

42 Healthy + Happy Holiday Gift Ideas!

Holiday gift giving season is here. And while I have definitely toned down the number of presents I buy this time of year, I still love a good gift exchange among friends, workplace Secret Santa or family gift giving sesh. I thought it would be fun to see what the bloggers out there wanted to give (and get!) as a healthy + happy gift, so I rounded up their answers in this post - I hope you get a few new gift ideas from it, I know I sure did! I mean, I definitely need to research Air Fryers, NOAH vegan shoes and pottery by Jeanette Zeis.

(And don't miss #42, it is my favorite on the list.)

Wild Blueberry Winter Wellness Smoothie

This post is sponsored by Wild Blueberries of North America.

Happy December! Wait, it is really December?? Crazy. This time of year things get pretty busy with travel and parties and gift shopping and family and friends and work and cookie baking and snow frolicking and holiday music dancing and more. Winter weather brings a chill in the air and a jam-packed to-do list leaves us with less time to take care of ourselves as usual. But no matter how busy you are, you should always find time for a wellness smoothie break!..

Two Days in Stockholm

Two Days in Stockholm. That title kinda sounds like a cool independent film starring Kristen Stewart and Rami Malek. But no, my two days in Stockholm wasn't nearly as edgy as it sounds, but alas, it was simply blissful. And a perfect stopover spot on our way to Thanksgiving week in Iceland. More on that in my next post! But for now, we head to Sweden.

Or as Fredrik from Bravo's Million Dollar Listing New York says, "Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeden!"

Here is how we spent our two days quick days and my ten Stockholm travel tips....
