I am a huge advocate for art. And rainy Saturdays were invented for art-inspired tasks. I think everyone, children and adults alike, should have an art outlet. Whether it be painting, music, fashion, sculpture, drama, hame crafts or even old fashioned pencil sketching--art can calm a weary spirit and bring out emotions and ideas that are buried beneath the human layer of the daily grind.
